Being a StayLance Helper is the perfect way to travel further on a budget: you work for around 20 hours a week doing something that you enjoy and receive full board and accommodation in return. This gives you a world of possibilities, since you can:

• spend all your free time exploring, sightseeing and soaking up the local culture
• meet like-minded, interesting people (both other volunteers and your Hosts)
• experience a different lifestyle

Are you a qualified professional with no plans for your next holiday? Or are you on a sabbatical / in

Use your skills to your advantage with StayLance and go on unique holidays, staying with interesting people in beautiful locations in any country of your choice. You can work for just several hours a week in return for full board and accommodation. What’s more, you wouldn’t need to go alone, as many Hosts would be happy for you to bring a friend or partner and even your children – ideal if your Host also has children for them to play with! StayLance allows you to:

• visit locations you’ve always dreamed of visiting in a welcoming, homely atmosphere (e.g. wild places where there are no other accommodation options)
• experience another culture, stay with like-minded people (who may end up becoming your good friends!) and explore in your free time
• try out living in another country if you are considering moving there and stay with expats who can tell you their experiences
